Project context
Skinwallet needed additional React and Node.js expertise to develop its platform. The project already had a team, architecture and established planning and release processes.
Our developers joined that way of working. Their responsibilities covered frontend and backend areas, as well as performance and stability.
The challenge
The additional developers needed the right skills for the stack and current needs. They had to learn the application, feature dependencies and how to work with the client’s team.
New features were being developed in a live platform. Every change needed to account for existing behaviour, code quality and performance.
Our work
We selected developers for the technologies and tasks, then brought them into the project. They learned the architecture and took responsibility for agreed parts of the product.
They joined planning, communication, code reviews and releases alongside Skinwallet staff, developing new features and existing frontend and backend areas.
The work also included technical reviews and optimisation. Changes were assessed for their impact on stability and the risk of disrupting features already in use.
What changed for the company
Skinwallet gained React and Node.js expertise while keeping its own product development process. Our developers worked as part of the client’s team, combining feature development with improvements to the existing application.
