Automated threat report imports for BTC

About the project

For BTC, we developed a solution that periodically retrieved reports on submitted threat notifications from an external source. The system processed the data automatically and transferred it to the company’s internal system.

The automation replaced repetitive manual data transfers. Reports reached the right system regularly and in a consistent format, allowing the team to proceed with their handling more quickly.

Information about submitted threats was available in external reports, while further handling required the data to be transferred into the company’s internal system.

Scope of work

We built a script that ran periodically and automated the entire data flow — from retrieving each report to importing it into BTC’s system.

Automatic execution of the process at scheduled intervals.

Retrieval and processing of reports on submitted threats.

Direct import of prepared data into the company’s internal system.

Results

  • Regular report imports without manual downloads or data entry.
  • A consistent format for information transferred to the internal system.
  • Lower risk of missed reports and delays in handling notifications.
