Instructions change, the code on the box stays. ISO TRADE’s QR platform

Project context

ISO TRADE needed to publish product instructions online in multiple languages. Customers reach the correct document through a QR code on the physical packaging.

Packaging remains in circulation when documentation changes. The project needed to connect a permanent product label with files and content that can be updated.

The challenge

Printed codes cannot be edited like a webpage. After an update, the code still needs to lead to the correct product documentation and language version.

A growing catalogue also needs a way to manage relationships between products, codes and files. Creating a separate page manually for every instruction document would be difficult to maintain.

Our work

We designed a platform for generating and managing QR codes. Each code is linked to a product and an address that can be printed on packaging.

We built multilingual document publishing with access designed for phones. Scanning a code takes customers to the online instructions.

An administration panel manages files, content and language versions. Updates preserve the address assigned to the code. Search and statuses help the team manage the product catalogue in one place.

What changed for the company

ISO TRADE can update instructions without changing codes on packaging already in circulation. Customers access documents on their phones, while the team manages products, files and languages in one panel.
